  4. A-Sound Elite is a digital sound editor with a multitude of
  5. effects and superlative editing capabilities. It is also a sound
  6. sampler supporting Perfect Sound and compatible digitizing
  7. hardware, including Perfect Sound 3.0. This powerhouse is
  8. contained within a super-fast, easy-to-use, 100% assembly
  9. language program.

  12. A-Sound Elite's major features include:

  14. o    support for IFF, RAW, ASF* and Sonix instruments and one-
  15.     shot samples;
  16.  
  17. o    support for multi-track multi-octave (up to 7 octave)
  18.     instrument creation in IFF and Sonix formats;
  19.  
  20. o    full implementation of stereo in all operations;
  21.  
  22. o    32 individual audio sample tracks, each having its own
  23.     configuration including mono/stereo
  24.  
  25. o    new unique editing controls providing highly flexible and
  26.     accurate range selection and manipulation;
  27.  
  28. o    a full array of editing tools including Cut, Copy, Paste,
  29.     Keep, Replace, Zero, Delete, Find Zero, and Auto-Edit;
  30.  
  31. o    super-fast waveform display with variable zooming in,
  32.     zooming out, and freehand editing of the waveform;
  33.  
  34. o    a powerful and unique UNDO function to undo any changes made
  35.     to a waveform including editing and effects;
  36.  
  37. o      on-screen real-time numerical data/counters showing sample
  38.     sizes in bytes and seconds (accurate to 1 millisecond);
  39.  
  40. o    20+ special effects including Echo, Reverb, Double-Track, 
  41.     Subtract, Disguise and Comb/Low Pass/High Pass Filters;
  42.  
  43. o    sound sampling capabilities with variable sample size and
  44.     rate up to 100 kilobytes/sec, with support for Perfect
  45.     Sound and compatible digitizers;
  46.  
  47. o    resampling to a specific note/octave, sample rate, or
  48.     period;

  50. o    full functionality on the Amiga 3000 and Workbench 2.0.

  53. * ASF is Deltaware Products' proprietary self-playing sound
  54. format that now functions in stereo or mono. With ASF sound
  55. files, no player program is needed for sample playback. They are
  56. executable files that can be run from the CLI or Workbench.

  58. A-Sound Elite is slotted for release in May 1991. Currently no
  59. price has been set.
